I'm WIP-ed

I've developed the worst habit lately. I keep starting projects and not finishing them. Current WIPs:
SnB HH Fat bottom bag
Yarn: Red Heart Supersaver - Orchid
Progress: Almost half done. I have the lining already, but no handles. It's a gift for a friend and has to be done by this weekend.

Flutter Sleeve Top from Fabulous and Flirty Crochet
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft - Orchid
Progress: About 5 inches done. I'm making it longer and adding more tapering so it fits better. I'm really hour-glassy and I don't want it to hang off me.

My Sorta Panta
Yarn: Camo colored variegated Red Heart (I love this yarn for accessories)
Progress: A third of the way. I'm modifying it so it ties in the back and isn't as wide. There's only 4 rows of ribbing.

Patrizia Pepe Skirt
Yarn: Natural Colored Cotton
Progress: 2 rows. I'm kinda making this one up as I go along, with a little guidance from photos on crafster and some notes written in russian, that have pictures.

Knitty's Pedicure Socks
Yarn: Red Heart purple, blue, yellow and green variegated. It's very spring-y
Progress: 2 rows of one sock. I cast on yesterday. Like I need another project right now...

My Kitty Beanie
Yarn: Bernat Super Stripes - Black and Pink
Progress: A cute little crochetted circle that will eventually be the top of the hat. This is something I'm sorta trying on my own. I want to add kitty ears and ear flaps. Should be pretty simple.

Cat Blanket
Yarn: Lion Brand Homespun Baby - Soft Violet and Powder Blue
Progress: A half a row. Since my cat won't stop sleeping on my blanket, I'm making him a matching one.

Grey Keyhole Scarf
Yarn: Red Heart Supersaver in Gray and $1 Target furry yarn, they blend to make a net mohair looking yarn.
Progress: About half done for months now. If I knit the keyhole part, my mom will finish it, I'm just being lazy.

SnB HH Fashion First Aid Bag
Yarn: Some Random Red and Black from my stash
Progress: Half done with the front, but this was mostly an experiment in Tapestry crochet so I doubt I'll even finish it.

A baby baseball hat
Yarn: Yellow and Green Variegated Cotton
Progress: I'm almost done with the hat part, Just a few more rows and a bill. I have the cutest nephew!!!

Pillow to Match the Big Crochet Blanket
Yarn: Red Heart Baby Clouds - the leftovers from my blanket
Progress: 75% done. I just need to finish the back side and seam.

Sparkly Loop Scarf
Yarn: Some silver slinky yarn I had in my stash
Progress: 3 or 4 rows in. It's a skinny scarf knit lenghtwise in the round. I want to be able to loop it around my neck like a long chain of pearls.

Now that I've written it all out, I'm realizing how much work is ahead of me. Sigh...

The bat chart

Here's the chart for the batman logo. Click for larger picture. I'm offering it free for personal use only.

I knitted this seperately using inc and dec on the curved edges then a row of single crochet all the way around to neaten it up. Here's a clearer picture of the product:

Crochet!!

Well, until I meet a sucessful hand surgeon, I'm stuck laying off the knitting as much as possible. So, I've taken up crochet since it requires far less use of my left hand. That, and I crochet faster than I knit. On to the projects!!

Multi-color blanket.
I tried to get a better picture of the blanket, but ever since I started it, I can't get my cat to stop sleeping on it. He'd even sleep on it while I was working on it. But it's big enough to cover a queen bed.

The Happy Hooker's Short and Sweet.
I made a few mods to the pattern to make it work for me. I used the size large back pattern, medium front, and I only did one row on the sleeves, then used sc and chains to make the edge more even and a little fluttery. The sleeves gave me a ton of trouble, but otherwise I really liked the pattern.

Belt from Fabulous and Flirty Crochet.
Except I made it skinnier.

Last, but not least.... THE BAT HAT. I designed the chart myself, which is knit. The rest of the hat is crochet. I'm stoked about it. I gave it to a friend for his bday, and if it didn't kill my hand to knit the logo patch, I'd make one of these for my dad and I. Oh well, my friend better love it.
